Introduction

Travelly is a mobile application designed to provide users with an all-in-one solution for their travel needs. From booking flights and hotels to planning itineraries, the app aims to simplify travel planning for users. This case study delves into the design process that aimed to enhance the user experience and introduce new features based on specific user needs.

The Problem

The existing Travelly app, although functional, lacks certain features and intuitive design elements that modern travelers demand. The primary challenges are:

 

  1. Incomplete integration between flight and hotel bookings.
  2. Absence of personalized recommendations based on user preferences.
  3. Complexity in navigating through various options.
  4. No provision for emergency services or travel updates.

New Feature

Seamless Integration

Allow users to book flights and hotels in a single transaction, providing bundled discounts and one-click payment options.

 

Personalized Recommendations

Utilize machine learning to offer personalized travel suggestions and itinerary options based on the user’s travel history and preferences.

 

In-App Travel Alerts

Introduce a real-time alert system for flight delays, gate changes, and other travel-related updates.
